On December 13-17, 2018, Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sona Salmanova, visited Istanbul, Republic of Turkey and participate in the International Conference on “Role of High Courts in the Field of Rule of Law and Protection of the Fundamental Rights”, organized by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.
On December 14, President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the Constitutional Court Zuhtu Arslan made opening remarks at the International Conference on the occasion of the OIC member / observer states, attended by representatives of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts.
At the event, speeches on a number of issues in the field of constitutional justice were heard, the views exchanged.
