At the initiative of the Constitutional Court of Romania, with the purpose of an exchange of opinions of assistants to judges, advisers, secretaries in the form of scientific session, on May 31 and June 1, 2016 in the Bucharest, Romania were organized the International Conference on the subject “The role of Assistant-Magistrates in the jurisdiction of constitutional courts”.
At this event, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan was represented by the Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, Deputy Secretary-General and Ms. Humay Afandiyeva, Head of Criminal and Administrative Law Department.
Representatives of the Constitutional Courts from 27 countries, and also representatives of the European Union and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe took part in the Conference. During two days Conference have been represented many lectures on the specified theme and carried out the discussions.
Ms.Sabina Aliyeva made a report on a subject “The functions of hte staff of hte Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the the process of administration of constitutional justice”. In the report, she has mentioned ways of development of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan since its foundation till present time, and has told to Conference participants concerning its activity.
The delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has discussed the issues of legal cooperation and has carried out an exchange of opinions with participants of Conference.
