On November 25 Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court, has met with Mrs. Francoise Guyot, Deputy Prosecutor of the Paris Public Prosecutor`s Office, who was invited to Baku by the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Problems.
The parties have discussed the main principles of implementation of the Law “On prevention of domestic violence”, adopted on June 22, 2010 and endorsed by the Presidential Decree on October 1, 2010.
Mr. Abdullayev has emphasized that the Court always uses gender equality principle in its rulings.
