Kamran Shafiyev was born on
December 22, 1966 in Baku.
In 1993 graduated the
faculty of law of Baku State University.
In 1985 worked as office
secretary in People’s court of Ishimbay city of Bashkiria Soviet Socialist
Republic, since 1986 – as office secretary and clerk at People’s court of Ufa
city.
From 1994 till 1998 he
worked as advisor and senior advisor of Department of Legislation on State
Construction of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From 1998 to 2008 worked on position of the Deputy head of Department of Legislation on State Construction of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From 2008 to 2010 he worked as the Head of Department of Public Service and Personnel Issues of the staff of Milli Majlis (Parliament).
From 1998 to 2000 he was
elected as a member of the Central Election Commission.
On June 22, 2006 by Decree
N1521 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan he was awarded with the
3rd degree of state councilor.
He took active part in
preparation of some legislative acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On June 22, 2010 upon presentation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of the decision of Milli Majlis (Parliament) he was appointed to the post of cudge of Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Member of the Scientific Advisory Council under the
General Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Member of the Judicial - Legal Council
He was awarded the
“Taraggi” medal by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated
July 9, 2018.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of May 27, 2019 he was awarded with the jubilee medal “100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)”.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of July 13, 2023,
he was awarded the Order “For Service to the Motherland” of 3rd degree.
Married, has two children.
