On December 2, 2019 the
Chamber of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a
regular session.
At the session, following by
part V of Article 130 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and
Article 7.1 of the Law “On Constitutional Court”, was examined the request of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on
compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the dissolution of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of
Azerbaijan on the basis of Resolution of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of
Azerbaijan of December 2, 2019 no. 1717-VQR “Appealing to the President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan to call early elections to the Milli Majlis of the
Republic of Azerbaijan”.
It was decided to list the
case for trial by the Plenum of Constitutional Court, the session of which is
scheduled for December 4, 2019.
