In the State Program “Azerbaijani Youth in 2017-2021”,
approved by the Decree No. 3236 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
dated September 15, 2017, and in the speech of the head of state at the
republican meeting dedicated to the Day of Azerbaijan Youth on February 1,
2019, state bodies are tasked with using the potential of young people more
effectively, creating conditions for their active participation in all spheres
of society, instilling in them professional skills and increasing their practical
knowledge, supporting the disclosure of their creative and innovative
potential, and developing the volunteer movement in the country.
For this purpose, the Constitutional Court of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the Law of the Republic of
Azerbaijan “On Volunteering”, in cooperation with the State Agency for Public
Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of
Azerbaijan, has begun to apply volunteering activities among young people in
the Constitutional Court.
The Constitutional Court recalls that volunteering
activities are not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan,
are related to the performance of work or the provision of services for public
benefit and is considered a non-profit activity. Volunteering at the
Constitutional Court is mainly organized in the following areas:

Internship in
departments and sectors of the apparatus;
·
Studying the work
experience of judges;
·
Getting acquainted with
the decisions adopted by the Plenum of the Constitutional Court;
·
Participating in the
process of organizing plenum sessions;
·
Directly participating
in the reception of citizens;
·
Getting acquainted with
the mechanism for protecting rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution
through studying individual complaints of citizens.
Volunteering is intended for a period of 2 months.
Each of the young people who have worked as a
volunteer for 2 months and successfully completed their contractual obligations
will be issued special certificates by the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Azerbaijan, which will be an opportunity for their successful transition to
labor activity.

young people who want to work as volunteers:

Computer skills.
