Azerbaijani people annually celebrate Constitution Day, which is one of the significant celebrations of our independence history. November 12, 1995 the Azerbaijani people adopted its Fundamental Law by referendum - national Constitution. Along with the fact that our first national constitution, written by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, is based on universal ideas and the most advanced international experience, the document also reflects our historical traditions, national spiritual values of the Azerbaijani people.
