A delegation led by the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev through 14-16 October has been on a visit in Bucharest on the invitation of Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Romania, to take part at the meeting of the Chairmen of the European Constitutional Courts Conference in Bucharest.
The President of Romania Mr. Ion Basescu greeted the participants and highly estimated the international co-operation among the European Constitutional Courts.
The participants of meeting discussed the possible topics of the forthcoming XV Congress of Conference such as the access of individuals to Constitutional Court, execution of court decisions etc. Participants have also discussed the Draft Statute of the World Conference of Constitutional Courts.
In the framework of visit, Azerbaijan delegation laid a wreath on the monument to Heydar Aliyev in the park and visited the Bucharest Office of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
