Mr. Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Constitutional Court, has met with Mrs. Francoise Guyot, Deputy Prosecutor at the Paris Public Prosecutor`s Office.
Abdullayev said “like in other fields in Azerbaijan, very effective reforms have been conducted in the justice system”. He gave a detailed information about the activities of the Court, which was established in 1998.
The Chairman also talked about international relations of the Court, saying they try to use experience of developed countries, including France in the field of law and justice.
Guyot said she had eye-witnessed rapid development in Azerbaijan, praising reforms implemented in the justice system.
The meeting also exchanged views on various issues, including expansion of bilateral cooperation.
Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court Sona Salmanova, Judge Sudaba Hasanova, deputy chair of State Committee on Family, Women and Children Issues Sadagat Gahramanova and others took part in the meeting.
