A meeting was held at the Constitutional Court with
the delegations headed by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of
Kyrgyzstan Emil Oskonbayev, Judge of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye
Yıldız Seferinoğlu, and Judge of the Constitutional Court of Thailand Noppadon Theppitak, who were visiting Baku to participate in the
international conference on "Constitution and the Rule of Law in Contemporary
Legal Systems" dedicated to the
30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of
Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, Chairman Farhad Abdullayev provided
information about the activities of the Constitutional Court, the
decision-making procedure, the reforms carried out in the judicial and legal
field in our country, and the innovations implemented, and emphasized the
importance of co-operation between courts.
The Chairman noted that the exchange of practice and
views during the meetings held within the framework of the visit will make a
significant contribution to the further deepening of judicial relations between
our countries, the further strengthening of judicial and legal co-operation,
and the development of future co-operation.
The guests once again expressed their congratulations
on the occasion of 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasized that the international Conference was
successful and fruitful, noted their interest in developing mutual relations
with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and expressed
their gratitude for the hospitality and warm welcome.
A wide exchange of views took place during the
meeting.
In conclusion, the guests got acquainted with the building of the Constitutional Court and took commemorative photos.
