A working meeting was held within the framework of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World (TURK-AY)

After the international conference on "The Development of the legislation through the application of Constitutional norms" held in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a working meeting was held within the framework of the "Conference of The Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World" (TURK-AY) Organization with the participation of the presidents of the Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

At the beginning of the meeting, The Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev once again welcomed the guests who came on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and expressed his gratitude to each of them for participating in the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later, the members of TURK-AY congratulated Mrs. Elvira Azimova on the occasion of the establishment of the Constitutional Court instead of the Constitutional Council as a result of the constitutional reforms in Kazakhstan and also her appointment as the chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mrs. Elvira Azimova thanked all for the congratulations and noted that the cooperation carried out within TURK-AY is great important for the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Also, THE Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey Zuhtu Arslan, who presided over TURK-AY at the meeting, made a speech and emphasized that he highly appreciates holding the meeting of TURK-AY within the framework of the international conference of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The members of TURK-AY exchanged views on legal issues related to the judicial practice and mutual judicial and legal cooperation, and the chairmen of the Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan noted the efficiency of holding such working meetings in the framework of TURK-AY in the future.

In the end of the meeting, Farhad Abdullayev highly appreciated the judicial and legal cooperation within TURK-AY and expressed hope that this fruitful cooperation will continue in the future
