On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of
the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, among 60 schools in 12
districts of the capital, the legal Olympiad "Heydar Aliyev and the a
state governed by the rule of law" was held at the joint organization of
the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry
of Youth and Sports.
In connection with the announcement of the results of
the Legal Olympiad, judges and employees of the Constitutional Court,
responsible representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education, the
Ministry of Youth and Sports, winning students, teachers and parents took part
in the event organized at school No. 20 in Baku.
At the event, first, the National Anthem of the
Republic of Azerbaijan was sounded, and then a minute of silence honored the
memory of our martyrs who fell for their homeland.
Judge of the Constitutional Court Ceyhun Qaracayev,
Deputy Minister of Science and Education Idris Isayev, Deputy Minister of Youth
and Sports Farhad Hajiyev noted that this year the public of the country
celebrates with great honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of
the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, the Great Leader of our
people Heydar Aliyev.
The speeches emphasized that the establishment of
democratic values in Azerbaijan, the beginning of the process of building a
legal and secular state is connected with the name of the National Leader
Heydar Aliyev, it was noted that the fundamental reforms carried out by the
Great Leader not only brought our republic on the path of development, but also
created conditions for the preparation and adoption of the first national
Constitution.
The speakers emphasized that the new Constitution, created
under the direct supervision of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, determined
the foundations of the state structure and proclaimed that the people should be
the only source of state power. The basis of today's socio-economic development
of Azerbaijan, the strengthening of our national statehood, progressive legal
reforms carried out in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms are
associated with the name of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
It was brought to the attention that successful
reforms carried out in all spheres in our country under the leadership of
President Ilham Aliyev and the results achieved have significantly increased
the confidence of the people in the future. The successful implementation of
the policy of the Great Leader of Heydar Aliyev strengthens our independence,
strengthens our statehood and, as a result, further increases the role and
authority of Azerbaijan in the international arena.
Head of the Constitutional Law Department of the Administrative
Office of Constitutional Court, Durdana Mammadova, brought the congratulations
of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Farhad Abdullayev, to the
attention of the event participants and announced the results of the Olympiad. According
to the results of the Olympiad, Khazar district was awarded the first place,
Garadag district was awarded the second place, and Nizami district was awarded
the third place.
In the competition of schoolchildren, the first place
was taken by secondary school No. 149 of Khazar district, the second place was
taken by secondary school No. 229 of Nizami district, and the third place was
taken by secondary school No. 136 of Khazar district.
In conclusion, the winners of the legal Olympiad and 170
students who scored high were awarded diplomas and gifts established by the
Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of
Youth and Sports
