On December 2, 2020, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Serzhan Abdykarimov.

First of all, the ambassador congratulated the Azerbaijani people and the entire staff of Constitutional Court on the restoration of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the liberation of the lands from occupation.

Thanking for congratulations, Chairman Farhad Abdullayev stressed that the brilliant victory of our brave Army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev was a victory of true justice. It was noted that as a result of this historic victory, the aggression and occupation of Armenia against Azerbaijan, which lasted almost 30 years, was stopped and the requirements of international law were ensured.

The Ambassador noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are constantly developing successfully in all spheres. The development of these relations also observed in the judicial sphere.

It was noted that in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on August 12, 2020 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farhad Abdullayev was awarded the Order of Friendship of the II degree.

The Ambassador Serzhan Abdykarimov presented the Order to Farhad Abdullayev.

Expressing appreciation to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman Farhad Abdullayev stressed that this high award is a manifestation of friendly relations between the two countries.

Secretary General of Constitutional Court Rauf Guliyev was also awarded by the jubilee medal "25 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

At the end of the meeting, the guests were acquainted with the building of the Constitutional Court and took a memorable photo.
