In accordance with the state youth policy established
by the national leader of our nation Heydar Aliyev and successfully implemented
by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the participation
of young people in the activities of the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Azerbaijan continues meeting modern requirements. State Program “Youth of
Azerbaijan in 2017-2021” approved by the Presidential Decree No. 3236 dated
September 15, 2017 and the speech of the Head of State at the Republican
Meeting dedicated to the Youth Day of Azerbaijan on February 1, 2019 is to make
more effective use of the potential of young people, to create conditions for
active participation of young people in all spheres of society, to develop
their professional skills and to increase their practical knowledge, to develop
their creative and innovative potential and to develop volunteer movement in
the country. The authorities were tasked with making the most of the potential
of young people, contributing to the active participation of young people in
all areas of society, enhancing their professional skills and enhancing their
practical knowledge, promoting their creative and innovative potential, and
developing volunteerism in the country.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an order on February 12, 2019 to
establish a Working Group to organize the activities of volunteers in the
Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan
is successfully implementing its voluntary program that began in April. Youth
are taking part in the Constitutional Court Volunteer Program with a great
interest.
On June 25, the Constitutional Court of the Republic
of Azerbaijan awarded a group of young people who were involved in voluntary
activity with certificates. In accordance with the regulations of the Republic
of Azerbaijan "On Volunteer Activities", the Constitutional Court of
the Republic of Azerbaijan awarded young people who have successfully completed
their contractual obligations within two months with special certificates. This
will be a successful transition to their employment.
The volunteers involved in the court’s activity were
graduates of Baku State University, Law Faculty of the Academy of Public
Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as
graduates of “Odlar Yurdu” University, “Qafqaz” University with specialties in
pedagogy, translation, English language teaching and teaching of Azerbaijani
language and literature.
Volunteers at the Constitutional Court have been
trained in various departments and sectors of the Administration, participated
in the Plenum sessions, as well as in the reception of citizens, as well as
through the examination of requests from authorized subjects, inquiries from
the court and complaints from citizens, familiarized with the mechanism for the
protection of the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution.
