On May 5, 2017 the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly with the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Association “Lawyers of the Black and the Caspian sea region” held the Conference “Modern science and practical approaches of protection of the values enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan” dedicated to the 94th Anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
After opening speech, Aytan Mustafazade, Director of Institute of Law and Human Rights of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of law, Deputy of the Milli of Majlis, turned the floor over to Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Chairman Farhad Abdullayev in his speech said that as a result of efforts of National Leader Heydar Aliyev the new guarantees in system of protection of human rights were established. All these steps promoted integration of norms of international law into system of the national legislation of Azerbaijan. Having noted the actuality of a subject, Farhad Abdullayev have especially stressed the invaluable contribution of the Great Leader in formation of the democratic state as a basis of development of all branches in the country. It has been brought to the attention that adoption of the Constitution in 1995 was the one of major factors on the way of progress of the modern Azerbaijan.
