Visiting delegation led by chairman of Turkish Supreme Court Ismail Rushtu Cirit was at the Constitutional Court.
Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev informed the guests about judicial-legal reforms implemented in Azerbaijan. The chairman underlined that the relations between the judicial-legal bodies of the two countries had raised to a new level, had developed successfully and expanded within the framework of international organizations. Farhad Abdullayev outlined that the consitutional court has a big role in formation of civil society and stressed that the existence of individual complaints mechanism creates an opportunity for protection of rights and freedoms of the people via courts.
Chairman of Turkish Supreme Court Ismail Rushtu Cirit attached importance to mutual cooperation between the two countries. He underlined the importance of continuation of reforms in the judicial-legal sphere. Turkish guests got acquainted with the administrative building of the Constitutional Court. During the meeting, the sides exchanged ideas on prospects of mutual activity and other issues.
