July 12, 2013. Participants of
an international scientific conference titled “Constitutional justice in the
21st century: features and ways of development” have today visited the Alley of
Honors to lay flowers at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of
modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
They also put flowers at the
grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
The delegation then visited
the Alley of Martyrs to lay flowers at the graves of Azerbaijani heroes who
gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
They also put flowers at a
monument to Turkish martyrs who died for Azerbaijan`s independence in 1918.
