On November 2nd
Turkish delegation led by Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin visited
Azerbaijan`s Constitutional Court where they met with the Court`s Chairman
Farhad Abdullayev.
Abdullayev expressed his sorrow for the victims of Van quake. He
underlined existence of brotherhood relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijani official briefed the Turkish Minister on Constitutional Court`s
activity. He stressed strong ties exist between the two countries` relevant
bodies, recalling the memorandum of cooperation between them.
Abdullayev said Azerbaijan-Turkey relations develop rapidly in all
spheres, in legal sphere as well.
In turn, the Turkish Minister praised development of constitutional law
field in Azerbaijan. He described Azerbaijan`s getting seat in the UN Security
Council as logical conclusion of achievements the country gained over 20 years. Ergin
invited Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Constitutional Court to visit Turkey.
