On 28 October Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel met officials of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of Azerbaijan Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev updated on the expedient reforms in the country`s judicial-legal system.
Head of the OSCE Baku Office was informed that the laws, prepared in the field of court and jurisprudence, meet requirements and international standards with the consideration of the development trends in modern law.
As provided, over 170 bills have been prepared in the period of functioning of the Constitutional Court, many of the existent directives and instructions were improved and amended.
The Azerbaijan Constitutional Court pays particular attention to establishment of international ties and exchange of data and experience of foreign countries, Farhad Abdullayev underlined.
The Constitutional Court keeps close contacts with the OSCE Baku Office in cooperation of preparing joint publications, conducting trainings and conferences.
Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel expressed gratitude for cordial reception, noting that he is eyewitness of speedy development in Azerbaijan. The sides have comprehensive exchange of views on numerous aspects of cooperation.
